"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us…" -Ephesians 5:1-2

Birth of Jesus

The prophets of old told that Jesus would come, where he would come, and how he would be born. All the roads of time and the Old Testament scriptures pointed toward the monumental moment – The birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. It was no coincidence that a taxation went out through the land and everyone had to return to their original home to be counted. Joseph and Mary returned to the town of Bethlehem, the city of David. Jesus was born, the Angels rejoiced and spread the news to the shepherds who made haste to see this awesome event, they left rejoicing and spreading the news. We too rejoice in His birth.
