"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us…" -Ephesians 5:1-2

Bible Reading Schedule 2015

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15

Last year we tried to read our Bible through in a year.  Several made it all the way through, several more made it close, but we all read more than we had in the past, and enjoyed many good scriptural conversations.  This year Bro. Jonathan has requested that we spend some time studying more deeply, and only read 2 chapters a week.  The reading will not be as intense in volume, but he would like to see us increase in the “quality” of our reading.  He has encouraged us to study paying extra close attention to the text, following cross references, and looking up definitions of words that we are not familiar with.  This will enhance our scriptural discussions and questions since we will all be reading the same thing at the same time.
