"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us…" -Ephesians 5:1-2

Acts 1:12-26

Brother Jonathan preached on Acts 1:12-26. The Apostles concluded through Peter’s advice that they needed to choose another apostle to take Judas’ place. They chose 2 men and asked the Lord to choose between the two. They ¬†cast lots and the lot fell on Matthias. Brother Jonathan went on to say that even though their intentions were good, that the Lord’s choice is always better. The Lord chose one in whom they would have never considered, one who was at the time persecuting the church of God. Saul of Tarsus, who eventually became the Apostle Paul.
